This luminaire is available with powder-coated or polished finishes, suspended securely by steel cables complemented by a silver braided power cable. Its opal acrylic diffuser ensures gentle, even light distribution. For enhanced safety and functionality, an optional remote emergency lighting system provides 1.5 hours of illumination (3 hours for EU), including an inverter module, NiCad batteries, and a remote LED charge indicator with a test switch. The maximum distance between the wall or ceiling plate and the luminaire is 15 feet (4.5 meters), and the test switch fits a single gang box (not supplied).
Drivers for the Midi Arc Ring are high power factor electronic types compatible with 120-277V (EU-240V) power supplies. Depending on the fixture size, drivers may be either remotely mounted or integrated into the canopy. Remote mounting supports wire distances up to 40 feet (12.2 meters) for 18 AWG, 60 feet (18.3 meters) for 16 AWG, and 90 feet (27.4 meters) for 14 AWG wires, with the requirement that drivers remain accessible after installation.
The Midi Arc Ring seamlessly integrates with modern smart lighting networks via Power over Ethernet (PoE), providing advanced connectivity options. Mechanically, luminaires mount directly over a junction box (by others). Delivered lumens and lumens per watt values are based on 4000K color temperature with a minimum CRI of 80+. This fixture boasts a long lifespan with an L70 rating exceeding 60,000 hours at 25°C (77°F). It is damp rated for versatility in installation environments.
