The Paragon Pendant is a modern luminaire that places strong emphasis on its striking diffuser, blending aesthetics and functionality. Inspired by the natural symmetry found in the solar system and floral structures, the design centers on a star-shaped diffuser composed of 16 precisely cut components. This visually compelling element features a decorative pattern and functions as a circular louvre, providing both style and effective glare control.
The core idea behind Paragon was to make the diffuser the focal point of the design, evolving it into an elegant framework that retains its technical purpose. The result is a luminaire that stands out while offering a balanced and diffuse light output. The shade is constructed from spun aluminum and can be easily mounted onto the light engine, creating a seamless and complete fixture. It is suspended by a 2.5-meter textile cable, enhancing its presence in any space.
Crafted from durable materials, Paragon features a die-cast aluminum housing and an opal acrylic glare controller, with a diffuser made from PET. This pendant fixture is versatile in its applications, fitting naturally into cozy restaurant settings, contemporary open-plan offices, or home environments such as dining areas or kitchen islands.
The light source is the high-quality TALLEX CLE engine by Tridonic, providing DALI-controllable illumination with a color temperature of either 3000K or 4000K. It offers a color rendering index (CRI) greater than 80 and a chromaticity tolerance of 3 SDCM, with a rated lifespan of L70 at 50,000 hours. The Paragon Pendant emits a symmetric, omnidirectional light and meets energy efficiency class E, ensuring a consistent and well-distributed lighting experience across various applications.
