MACRO STRAIGHT™ Suspended is a robust 4-inch linear lighting solution designed to provide high-output general illumination, making it ideal for spaces with standard ceiling heights. Its strong architectural presence is balanced by a clean, refined aesthetic that accommodates a wide variety of applications. The luminaire is available with both direct and indirect lighting options, the latter offered with either a clear or opal diffuser for versatile light distribution. Designers can select from ten decorative finishes, along with two elegant wood grain finishes—Light Cherry and Dark Walnut—enhancing its suitability for environments where visual warmth and material variety are important.
Constructed from a combination of steel and aluminum, MACRO STRAIGHT features a polyester powder-coated finish that ensures long-term durability and a polished appearance. It uses sectional opal polycarbonate diffusers and includes a silver braided power cable for a refined suspended profile. The suspension system consists of steel cables with a recommended minimum mounting height of 12 inches (305mm) for white LEDs and 24 inches (610mm) for colored LED configurations in direct/indirect lighting versions.
The fixture operates with integral high power factor (HPF) electronic drivers that support 120-277V and 347V (EU-240V), all housed within the fixture itself for a streamlined installation. It mounts directly over a standard junction box (by others, in North America only), enabling straightforward mechanical integration. Color temperature options include three standard whites as well as monochromatic red, green, and blue, adding flexibility for branding, accenting, or mood-based lighting schemes.
MACRO STRAIGHT also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity, allowing for seamless integration into intelligent lighting and building management systems. An optional integral emergency system is available for North American applications (not compatible with 347V supply), providing 1.5 hours of emergency illumination via a self-contained module with NiCad batteries, inverter, LED charge indicator, and test switch.
With an expected L70 lifespan exceeding 60,000 hours at 25°C and performance metrics based on 4000K, 80+ CRI white LEDs, MACRO STRAIGHT delivers dependable illumination over time. The luminaire is damp location rated and can be supplied with seismic bracing kits to meet code compliance requirements for critical installations.
