EXY reimagines the traditional dome luminaire with a modern, refined touch while delivering the high-performance lighting required for demanding environments such as industrial facilities, warehouses, and large retail stores. Designed for function and flair, EXY enhances visual comfort while elevating architectural aesthetics through efficient light distribution, enabled by an internal reflector that increases the luminaire’s overall efficacy. The fixture is available in a variety of custom paint finishes, making it ideal for retail spaces looking to match specific brand colors.
Constructed from a combination of steel and aluminum for the body and trim, and featuring die-cast aluminum heat sinks for optimal thermal management, EXY is engineered for durability and long-term performance. The luminaire is suspended using a stainless steel cable system—one cable for small fixtures, and three for medium and large versions. A silver braided power cable complements the fixture’s industrial styling. Adding to its visual appeal is a decorative disc or ring, crafted from 6mm green-tinted acrylic with a polished edge and sandblasted finish, secured by three stainless steel cylindrical finials.
EXY features a matte frosted aluminum internal reflector with faceted surfaces (available in 26W and 38W models), and an external aluminum reflector finished as specified, contributing to a controlled, efficient beam and high light output. The luminaire supports various dimming and power options, with high-power factor (HPF) electronic drivers compatible with 120-277V or EU 240V. For small and medium versions, the driver is housed in the canopy; in large versions, it is integrated into the fixture body.
EXY is compatible with Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing seamless integration into data networks for advanced lighting control. Emergency lighting is supported through remote systems: in North America, a 1.5-hour emergency option includes a remote inverter module, NiCad batteries, and a wall or ceiling LED charge indicator and test switch, with a maximum distance of 4.5 meters (15 feet). In Europe, a 3-hour self-contained emergency solution is available with an integrated LED charge indicator.
The luminaire mounts directly to a standard junction box (North America only) and is damp-location rated, making it suitable for various indoor environments. Delivered lumens are based on 3000K CCT with a minimum 80 CRI for white LEDs, and performance is verified at a reported L70 of over 50,000 hours at 25°C (77°F). Sensor compatibility is available upon request, allowing for tailored functionality in large-scale lighting projects.
