The outer body is made from sound-absorbing, fire-retardant polyester fibre, offering excellent noise attenuation while meeting stringent fire safety standards. Flexbeam offers a selection of reflector options including black ‘invisible’ sources, metallised low-glare reflectors, and white reflectors, enabling users to meet specific lighting requirements. Versions with an optional uplight component are also available, adding visual softness and increasing ceiling brightness. All versions are supplied with easily adjustable 3-meter wire suspensions and a 3.5-meter clear supply lead for a clean, simplified installation.

Emergency versions provide maintained operation with light outputs of 250 to 350 lumens for up to three hours, powered by reliable Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries. The luminaire’s LED modules are built for longevity, offering a rated life of 100,000 hours (L80/B10), ensuring durability and minimal maintenance.
