The sGlade-17 Surface-Mounted Wall Light offers a sleek and efficient solution for modern architectural lighting. Engineered for ease of installation and visual elegance, this fixture simplifies wall and step lighting with its low-profile, streamlined design. It is available in 1LED or ZDC configurations, integrating advanced optics that project light at a 40º angle—perfect for creating refined wall- and ground-washing effects. With only 1.0" (25 mm) of exposed depth and a total height of 2.5" (64 mm), the sGlade-17 is ideal for compact spaces and contemporary risers.
Designed for surface mounting in a fixed downlight position, the sGlade-17 includes an intuitive mounting bracket system with alignment guidelines to ensure correct placement and seamless installation with no visible hardware. Its compact yet durable die-cast A380 aluminum construction is finished with a marine-grade anodization and polyester TGIC powder coat for outstanding resistance to harsh outdoor conditions. The fixture includes a frosted polycarbonate lens that offers excellent impact resistance and accommodates thermal expansion, while tamper-resistant stainless steel hardware ensures secure installation.
The sGlade-17 delivers up to 76 lumens of output while consuming only 2.2 to 4.3 watts of power, depending on configuration. It operates on low voltage input—10–15 Vac/dc for white LEDs and 11–15 Vac/dc for RGBW—with remote transformers specified separately. LED sources include Lumileds® for white light and Cree® for RGBW, offering lifespans of over 72,000 hours for white and 55,000 hours for RGBW (L70, B10, TM21 reported). The integral driver supports Luxor® control systems and trailing-edge dimmers, with the ZDClink Controller enabling zoning for up to 250 groups, precise 1% dimming increments, and full-spectrum color changes using RGBW technology.
Thermal performance is managed via CoolDrive™ onboard monitoring and control, ensuring optimal operating conditions for long-term reliability. The fixture also includes MicroAntileach™ technology in its socket design to prevent moisture ingress, and features 10 feet (3 meters) of SPT-1W wiring for flexible installation.
Fully potted and sealed to an IP66/IP67 rating, the sGlade-17 is approved for dry, damp, and wet locations and classified as IES Type II with a BUG rating of B0-U1-G0. It meets a wide range of global safety and performance certifications, including UL 1838, CSA, FCC, EN, IEC, and ISED standards, making it a versatile and compliant choice for modern exterior architectural lighting.
