At the heart of its durability lies Lumascape’s proprietary UVShield™ Technology, which combines a UV-stabilized tube with a UV-reflective barrier to prevent discoloration and degradation of the diffuser—ensuring sustained optical clarity and aesthetic integrity even in harsh environments.
Driven by PowerSync™4 digital control technology, the Vestalux V2 supports up to 225 feet (69 meters) of fixtures powered and controlled by a single controller and 3-core leader cable. This streamlined infrastructure enables efficient and scalable deployment, ideal for large-scale outlining or media façade projects.
The V2 stands out with its class-leading photometric performance. The 4-foot RGBW version delivers over 1,200 lumens, while the white variant outputs nearly 2,400 lumens, making the fixture suitable for vibrant, high-impact applications as well as more nuanced, subtle effects with its lower-power configuration. It’s available in 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5-foot lengths, providing versatility to meet a wide range of linear lighting design needs.
Ideal for direct-view applications, the V2 excels in everything from clean single-color outlining and architectural backlighting to dynamic, full-color animation. Its use of individual discrete mid-power LEDs allows for optimal color mixing and precision, supporting a wide spectrum of white CCTs as well as saturated colors. The RGBW engine with Royal Blue enhances color vibrancy, while the RGBA version delivers nuanced pastels, rich oranges, and beautifully mixed whites for more restrained or artistic expressions.
Technologically advanced and incredibly flexible, the Vestalux V2 offers precise control resolution options down to ¾", and supports DMX/RDM, Artnet, PWM, and 0-10 V dimming protocols. Dimming is flicker-free to 0.1% at a 10 kHz PWM frequency, and fixtures come factory-configured with a default RDM personality. This can be reconfigured via standard DMX/RDM tools to match project-specific needs such as different dimming curves or control resolutions.
Constructed from marine-grade extruded aluminum and protected with Lumascape’s nine-step powder-coating process including anodized undercoating, the V2 also features a stabilized polycarbonate tube and surface-mount installation. It can operate in environments ranging from -40 °F to 122 °F (-40 °C to 50 °C) with a surface temperature of ≤ 95 °F (35 °C), making it well-suited for extreme conditions.
The Vestalux V2 is lightweight yet robust—3.3 lbs (1.5 kg) for low voltage and 5.0 lbs (2.3 kg) for line voltage models per 4-foot section—with an effective projected area of 0.7 ft² (0.07 m²). It holds IP66/IP67 ratings and passes IP68 testing, offers IK10 impact resistance, and is rated for 3G vibration (ANSI C136.31). The fixture is certified for use in dry, damp, and wet locations and is compliant with ETL, CE, UKCA, RCM, and FCC standards.
