The Vulcan Clutch® is a rechargeable, multi-function lantern that features a clamping handle and a swivel neck with an articulating head. It utilizes the latest in power LED technology for extreme brightness, along with two ultra-bright blue safety taillight LEDs for rear visibility. The lantern is designed with a large tactile push-button switch, making it easy to use even with gloves. This switch provides programmable access to various modes of operation, offering versatility for different lighting needs.
The housing is made from high-impact, super-tough nylon, which ensures exceptional durability. The rotating head is constructed from high-grade aluminum and encased in nylon for added toughness. Available in international safety orange or safety yellow, the lantern also features a rubberized cushioned-grip handle for comfortable use. The head's 340-degree rotation and hinges at the top provide multi-directional lighting, while the 20-degree downcast head is perfect for footpath lighting. The lantern also includes a battery status indicator for convenience.
This lantern offers three high-power white LEDs that are impervious to shock and have a 50,000-hour lifetime. Additionally, two ultra-bright blue taillight LEDs enhance safety by ensuring visibility, even in thick smoke. The Vulcan Clutch® features a rechargeable 7.4V, 5.2Ahr lithium-ion battery that fully recharges in just five hours. It also has an IP67-rated design, making it dust-tight and waterproof to one meter for 30 minutes, and it has been tested for 2-meter impact resistance.
The Vulcan Clutch® lantern is available in two models: the Standard System and the Vehicle Mount System. Both models include a quick-install charging rack and AC and DC chargers. The Standard System comes with a quick-release buckle strap for the orange model and a heavy-duty strap for the yellow model, while the Vehicle Mount System features a heavy-duty direct wire cord for 12V DC charging. The lantern is also compatible with various charge cords, including options for 100V, 120V, 230V, or 240V AC and 12V DC for automobile use.
With lighting modes including high, low, and a programmable taillight mode, the Vulcan Clutch® delivers impressive performance. On high mode, it emits 1,700 lumens with a 520-meter beam, running for 6.5 hours. On low mode, it provides 380 lumens with a 245-meter beam and runs for 18 hours. The large multi-function push-button switch makes operation simple, and the flat base allows the lantern to stand on its own for convenient scene lighting.
