The Streamlight USB Haz-Lo® Headlamp is a high-performance, intrinsically safe, rechargeable headlamp powered by a single 18650 lithium-ion cell. It features two C4® power LEDs that offer three distinct output modes: Spot, Flood, and a Spot/Flood Combo for maximum brightness. The flood LED is positioned high on the lamp to provide shadow-free illumination, particularly useful when the light is mounted on a hard hat. Designed with industrial and safety professionals in mind, the headband is optimized for easy removal and cleaning.
The spot beam utilizes a smooth parabolic reflector to produce a tight beam with excellent peripheral illumination. The flood beam, mounted high on the housing, ensures wide-area lighting without casting shadows on the workspace. A micro USB charging port is concealed under a protective rubber cover. This durable light is IP67-rated, meaning it is dust-tight and waterproof to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. It is also impact tested for up to 2 meters, making it suitable for rugged environments such as industrial, law enforcement, fire and rescue, automotive, and consumer safety applications.
The light output includes 190 lumens for the spot beam with a peak beam intensity of 2,000 candela and an 89-meter reach. The flood mode emits 120 lumens with a beam intensity of 90 candela and a 19-meter range. When combined, the spot and flood beams produce 250 lumens of brightness. The spot mode offers a runtime of 7.5 hours, the flood mode lasts up to 13 hours, and the combined mode provides 7 hours of continuous light, all measured to 10% of the initial output.
The headlamp uses one proprietary Streamlight lithium-ion battery that is mechanically protected against reverse polarity and charges fully in about 4.5 hours. A multi-function push-button switch allows for seamless mode selection, and an LED indicator shows the charging status. The casing is made of tough thermoplastic with an elastomer switch and unbreakable polycarbonate lenses. The unit comes in safety yellow and includes a USB charging cable, elastic head strap, rubber hard hat strap, and 3M® Dual Lock® fasteners for secure, strapless hard hat mounting.
The USB Haz-Lo® Headlamp carries Class I, II, Division 1 and Class III approvals, meeting strict safety standards for use in hazardous environments. It is compact and lightweight, measuring 1.72 inches in height, 3.25 inches in width, and 1.75 inches in depth, while its tilting head design helps reduce neck fatigue during extended use.
