The Streamlight TLR-7® HL-X USB is a high-performance, rail-mounted weapon light designed to deliver exceptional brightness and beam reach in a compact form. When powered by the included Streamlight SL-B9® proprietary lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack, it produces 1,000 lumens and 22,000 candela, delivering a 297-meter beam distance. Its multi-fuel capability allows users to also operate the light with a standard CR123A battery, providing 500 lumens and 11,000 candela with a 210-meter beam. This flexibility enables users to select the output that best suits their operational environment. The light features customizable rear paddle switches with ambidextrous momentary and constant-on functionality, as well as a programmable strobe mode for tactical use.
The TLR-7® HL-X utilizes a custom Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic that creates a concentrated beam with optimal peripheral illumination. Its advanced electronic circuitry ensures consistent light output throughout the runtime. The lens is made of high-temperature, shock-mounted, impact-resistant BOROFLOAT® glass, and the white LED light source is impervious to shock with a 50,000-hour lifetime.
Users can expect up to 30 minutes of runtime at full 1,000-lumen output when using the SL-B9® battery (or up to 1 hour at the programmable 500-lumen setting). With a CR123A battery, the light runs for 1.5 hours to the 10% output level. The SL-B9® battery pack is a USB-C rechargeable 850mAh lithium-ion battery with an integrated safety circuit, capable of up to 500 recharge cycles. It charges in approximately 2.5 hours via USB-C or an optional bank charger. Alternatively, the CR123A battery offers a long 10-year storage life.
Constructed from durable 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish, the TLR-7® HL-X is built for rugged environments. The switch housing is made of impact- and chemical-resistant engineered polymer. The light measures 2.90 inches in length, 1.18 inches in width, and 1.27 inches in height. It weighs 2.88 ounces with the SL-B9® battery and 2.80 ounces with the CR123A.
Additional features include ambidextrous rear paddle switches that can be configured for high or low activation styles, a “safe-off” feature to prevent accidental activation, and a rail grip clamp system that allows secure attachment and detachment without placing hands in front of the muzzle. The light is IPX7-rated waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes and has been extensively live fire tested. Serialized for positive identification, it is available in both Black and Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finishes.
