Lightweight and compact, the Streamlight TLR® RM 1 and TLR® RM 2 weapon-mounted lights are engineered for long gun applications and include the HPL face cap, which delivers a tighter, longer-reaching beam with enhanced candela performance. The TLR RM 1 outputs 500 lumens with 11,000 candela and a 210-meter beam distance, while the TLR RM 2 doubles the output to 1,000 lumens, 22,000 candela, and a 297-meter beam reach. Both models feature a custom Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic that delivers a focused hotspot with optimal peripheral illumination, and they are powered by CR123A lithium batteries—one for the RM 1, and two for the RM 2.
The lights are equipped with ergonomic, multi-function tail switches that support both momentary and constant-on modes, and allow either push-button or remote pressure switch activation. A quick press activates constant-on, while press-and-hold initiates momentary light. A double-tap within a quarter-second activates strobe mode if enabled. The face cap includes a “safe off” position to prevent unintentional activation, preserving battery life. Run time is 1.5 hours to 10% output for both models, with strobe mode lasting 3 hours.
Built from high-temperature, shock-mounted, AR-coated BOROFLOAT® glass, the lens is engineered for impact resistance and clarity. The LED light source is impervious to shock and rated for a 50,000-hour lifetime. The durable body design ensures ambidextrous operation and includes a one-handed snap-on interface that keeps hands away from the muzzle when attaching or detaching. Both lights are IPX7-rated waterproof to one meter for 30 minutes and are live-fire tested for reliability in rugged conditions.
The TLR RM 1 measures 3.64 inches in length and weighs 3.02 oz with battery. It includes a 90-degree exit remote pressure switch that allows cleaner wire routing and saves rail space. Similarly, the TLR RM 2 measures 4.97 inches and weighs 4.68 oz with batteries. Each model comes packaged as a complete kit including a remote pressure switch, mounting keys, and everything needed to install on MIL-STD-1913 or NATO rails. They are also available in "light only" configurations. Optional accessories include additional mounting adapters and remote switches. Serialized for positive identification, these lights are built for professional use in harsh environments.
