The Streamlight Stinger® Color-Rite® rechargeable flashlight is a compact and powerful tool designed for optimal performance in a variety of conditions. Featuring Streamlight's Color-Rite Technology® with a high Color Rendering Index (90 CRI) LED, it provides true color recognition, making it ideal for users who need accurate color visibility under low light. This advanced LED emits a warm 3,000K light, offering enhanced visualization and helping to reveal subtle details in various applications. The flashlight offers three microprocessor-controlled intensity modes—high, medium, and low—as well as a strobe mode, giving users flexibility depending on the situation.
Built with a durable 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum body, the Stinger® Color-Rite® is designed for long-lasting performance. The flashlight features a non-slip rubberized comfort grip and an anti-roll rubber ring, ensuring that it is both easy to handle and resistant to rolling when placed on flat surfaces. The unbreakable polycarbonate lens, with a scratch-resistant coating, ensures long-term durability, and the O-ring sealing adds to the flashlight’s water resistance, making it IPX4-rated. Additionally, the light is impact-resistant up to 1 meter, providing extra reliability in rugged environments.
The flashlight is powered by a 3-cell, 3.6-volt, 2.6Ahr Ni-MH sub-C battery, which is rechargeable up to 1000 times, offering significant cost savings. It can be recharged using a Streamlight universal AC input voltage, 5V/1A USB, or 12VDC cigarette lighter or direct wire automotive cords. Charging is efficient, with the smart charger fully recharging the battery in 4.5 hours using a USB input or 3 hours with a 12VDC input. The flashlight also includes an LED charge-continuity indicator on the charger base to ensure proper charging. The Stinger® Color-Rite® is compatible with existing Stinger® chargers, offering additional flexibility.
With a beam distance of up to 265 meters and a peak candela of 17,500, the flashlight is incredibly bright. On its highest setting, it produces 500 lumens and runs for 1.5 hours. The medium setting provides 275 lumens with a runtime of 2.5 hours, while the low setting offers 140 lumens and runs for 5 hours. The strobe mode runs continuously for 3 hours, providing an additional safety feature. The flashlight’s compact size (8.41 inches in length) and lightweight design (12.4 ounces with the battery) make it easy to carry and handle. Additionally, it comes with optional accessories such as a DS tail cap switch, safety wands, holster, and various chargers to meet a range of user needs.
