The ProTac® Rail Mount HL-X Pro is a high-performance, gun-mounted tactical light engineered for extreme beam reach, high lumen output, and maximum versatility. Designed with the innovative Jack-Cap™ tail cap, it provides operational switch redundancy through both a push-button tail switch and an integrated port for a remote pressure switch. This advanced light is ideal for rifles, carbines, and submachine guns, attaching securely via MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rail or the included M-LOK® mount, offering flexible mounting options for M-LOK® and M-LOK® compatible systems.
Powered by either two CR123A lithium batteries or Streamlight’s rechargeable SL-B26® battery pack, the HL-X Pro is capable of delivering consistent illumination through solid-state current regulation. The white LED is impervious to shock and boasts a 50,000-hour lifetime, while the reflector produces a focused beam with optimal peripheral lighting. On high mode, the light produces 1,000 lumens and 50,000 candela, achieving a beam distance of 447 meters. On low mode, it outputs 60 lumens and 3,100 candela, with a beam distance of 111 meters.
Run time varies by battery type. With the SL-B26® battery, the high setting runs for 1.75 hours, low for 24 hours, and strobe for 3.5 hours. Using CR123A batteries, the high setting provides 1.25 hours of light, low runs for 21 hours, and strobe for 2.5 hours. The light’s TEN-TAP® programmable switch allows users to choose from three operating modes: high/strobe (default), high only, or low/high.
The HL-X Pro features a high-temperature, shock-mounted, AR-coated BOROFLOAT® glass lens and a rugged anodized aluminum case built to withstand real-world conditions. It is IP67-rated for waterproof performance (1 meter for 30 minutes) with the standard push-button switch installed and IP54-rated for water resistance when using the remote pressure switch. A one-handed snap-on and tighten interface allows fast attachment or detachment from the firearm while keeping hands away from the muzzle.
The light is available as a “Light Only” version or as a complete “System”, which includes a remote pressure switch, Jack-Cap® tail switch, remote retaining clips, double-sided tape, zip ties, and an M-LOK® mount. Optional accessories include battery charging cradles, replacement batteries, and additional remote switches.
