The housing of the wafer downlight consists of a durable aluminum die-cast outer frame finished with powder coat paint to prevent rust. The FT4 plenum-rated cable connector allows simple connection to the remote driver box, which contains an isolated IC-rated driver. The steel driver box includes four 7/8” knockouts with pryout slots and a 12 cubic-inch wiring compartment, accommodating up to six 14-gauge insulated conductors.
