The fixture construction reflects its commitment to performance and durability. Housings are offered in 1x4 and 1x8 extruded aluminum formats, with 2x2 square forms crafted from robust sheet metal. Interior brackets are die-formed from 20-gauge steel, and the micro downlight system uses high-density composite polycarbonate with extruded acrylic mixing lenses and formed aluminum optics. The heat sink is extruded aluminum, ensuring effective thermal management by doubling as part of the housing to extend LED life.
Pixel is powered by a range of remote driver options for tailored control. Choices include Lutron EcoSystem H-Series (1%), DALI, DMX, Xitanium SR for wireless integration, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) options from MOLEX, IGOR, and SMARTENGINE. Emergency battery packs and circuits are also available, all UL2108 certified for integral or remote driver configurations. The system operates on 120V, 277V, or universal voltage (UNV) and is certified to both UL and CSA standards, making it suitable for damp locations.
