Thanks to their low height, these luminaires are especially well-suited for areas with limited installation depth, such as parking decks or suspended ceilings, both indoors and outdoors. Accessories like diffuser lenses, which modify the light distribution, can be ordered separately to customize the lighting effect. The luminaires are engineered to be driven over by vehicles equipped with pneumatic tires, withstanding pressure loads up to 3000 kg.
Rated with protection class IP68 and a waterproof depth of up to 10 meters, these luminaires incorporate BEGA Thermal Management® to maintain optimal performance. The trim ring and luminaire housing are made of high-quality stainless steel and cast stainless steel, while safety glass protects the components. Floodlights feature reflectors made of pure anodised aluminium combined with BEGA Constant Optics® for precise and efficient light distribution.
Equipped with the BEGA Ultimate Driver®, these luminaires offer on/off or DALI-controllable power supply options. They include water stop features and connecting cables for secure installation. For walkable public areas, there is a recommendation to use skid-blocking glass compliant with DIN 51130 R13 to reduce slipping risks when the glass is wet. Luminaires with this skid-resistant glass, marked with an “R” after the article number, are also available and increase the dispersion of light distribution.
Additionally, these in-ground luminaires can be customized with light colors in green, blue, amber, and red upon request, providing versatile options for different lighting applications.
