With super-fast, precise mirror movement, thanks to our new Patent Pending positioning system, the SilverScan offers an impressive combination of performance and style. This compact, LED-based lighting fixture is designed to be a standout performer, packing the latest technology into a sleek, good-looking package.
The SilverScan is powered by a 350W white LED light engine that produces over 11,000 lumens, providing a punchy beam with an even, flat field. Designed for longevity, the LED engine boasts an impressive operational life of 20,000 hours. The fixture offers smooth colour transitions, along with vivid and radiant colours from its CMY mixing system and colour wheel. Additionally, it includes 7 rotating gobos and 9 static gobos, perfect for projection or mid-air effects. The zoom range extends from 9° to 27°, and the ultra-fast, stepless iris can further refine the beam for precise effects.
The SilverScan’s sleek design features a Patent Pending handle, making it easy to deploy quickly on stage. For installations with limited space, a low-profile bracket is also available, allowing for horizontal mounting onto low ceilings. With its innovative features, the SilverScan delivers both power and versatility, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of lighting applications.
Powered by Robe’s proprietary optical design, the high-efficiency zoom optical system has a 3:1 ratio, ensuring optimal performance across the 9° to 27° zoom range. The fixture’s total lumen output is 11,230 lm (as measured with an integrating sphere), with a colour temperature of 6,500K. The rotating gobo wheel includes 7 rotating glass gobos, each with the “SLOT&LOCK” system for easy replacement, while the static gobo wheel holds 9 fixed aluminium gobos. The SilverScan also features a 3-facet rotating prism, motorized iris, frost filters, and a variety of dynamic effects, including strobe and pulse effects.
For seamless control, the SilverScan supports multiple protocols, including USITT DMX-512, RDM, ArtNet, and MA Net. The fixture’s pan and tilt movements are highly responsive, with pan mirror movement reaching 165° and tilt mirror movement at 70°. The automatic mirror position correction, another Patent Pending feature, ensures precise alignment without the need for manual adjustments. The SilverScan is built to withstand demanding environments, with a thermal specification allowing for operation in temperatures as low as -5°C (23°F) and as high as 45°C (113°F).
This fixture also provides high-level connectivity options, with a Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 connector, locking 3-pin and 5-pin XLR data connectors, and an RJ45 Ethernet port for easy integration into a networked setup. Weighing just 16.5 kg (36.4 lbs), the SilverScan is versatile in its rigging options, offering both horizontal and vertical mounting positions, making it suitable for a wide variety of production and installation needs. With an ingress protection rating of IP20, the SilverScan is a durable and reliable choice for any lighting rig.
