LedPOINTE® is engineered for versatility and stunning visual impact. A large 155 mm front lens paired with Robe’s proprietary 2:1 hot-spot optical system provides a powerful and flexible zoom range from 1.8° to 44°, making it suitable for everything from pinpoint beam effects to wide washes. The fixture’s rapid and fluid movement includes 540° pan with continuous rotation and 270° tilt, enhanced by Robe’s patented EMS™ (Electronic Motion Stabilizer) software for precise positioning and vibration-free projection.
Color control is seamless through the CMY color mixing system, capable of rendering smooth transitions from soft pastels to saturated hues. A 13-color dichroic wheel and the onboard DataSwatch™ library offer quick access to frequently used tones and calibrated whites (2,700K to 8,000K), speeding up programming and ensuring consistent looks across productions. The inclusion of ChromaTint™ allows precise green correction, perfect for camera work.
The LedPOINTE® sets itself apart with an extensive suite of effects. Two gobo wheels—one rotating with 9 indexable gobos and one static with 11 fixed patterns—enable creative projection and atmospheric texture. For even more dynamic visuals, the fixture incorporates MagFrost™, Robe’s magnetic paddle frost system, which includes standard 1° and 5° frost filters for quick transitions between sharp and diffused looks.
Effect possibilities expand further with two prism wheels. The first includes independent 6-facet linear and 18-facet radial prisms, both with bi-directional speed control. The second houses the patented SpektraBeam™ effects engine and an 8-facet radial prism.
