The versatility of FORTE® is further enhanced by the choice between the TE™ 1.000W HP White LED Engine (for high performance) and the TE™ 1.000W HCF White LED Engine (for high colour fidelity). These engines can be swapped out in the same fixture in under five minutes, without concerns about alignment or warranty issues. This flexibility eliminates the need for separate luminaires with different light sources, streamlining operations and ensuring the right engine is in the right fixture at the right time. Robe’s patented self-referencing, data-capturing engines, developed entirely in-house, guarantee exceptional performance. The TE™ 1.000W HP White 6,700 K LED Engine produces an impressive 50,000 lumens, while the TE™ 1.000W HCF White 6,000 K LED Engine offers 35,000 lumens with an exceptional CRI of 96, ensuring excellent color fidelity. Both engines are rated for a lifetime of 50,000 hours (L70/B50), ensuring the fixture’s longevity and reliability.
The FORTE® also boasts a wide zoom range, from 5° to 55°, allowing it to excel in spot, wash, and beam applications. Its 41 kg frame holds advanced optics and a powerful output boost, compensating for the typical loss in brightness at narrow zoom settings. This boost results in a more than 15% increase in output, making the FORTE® ideal for creating piercing beams. The fixture’s dynamic capabilities are complemented by Robe’s new CMY color mixing system, which produces smooth transitions between colors. The addition of two color wheels, CRI 80 and 90 filters (for the HP Engine), and a variable CTO range from 3,000 to 6,700 K ensures that FORTE® delivers superior color finesse and precision.
Equipped with a comprehensive effects package, the FORTE® includes two fully indexable, rotatable gobo wheels with six gobos, a pair of stackable 6-facet prisms (linear and circular), an animation wheel, and an ultra-fast motorized iris. Additionally, two rapid-insert interchangeable frosts, soft (1°) and medium (5°), enable smooth washes across the full zoom range. The patented PLANO4™ framing shutter system allows for precise control, with separate blade movements and 60° of rotation for complete framing flexibility. FORTE® also features advanced technologies like Cpulse™ for flicker-free operation, ensuring compatibility with HD and UHD cameras, and EMS™ (Electronic Motion Stabilizer), which eliminates motion instability caused by truss movements, making it perfect for RoboSpot™.
FORTE® is compatible with a wide range of control protocols, including USITT DMX-512, RDM, ArtNet, MA Net, MA Net 2, and sACN, with direct communication available via Robe’s REAP™ Ethernet Access Portal. Wireless DMX control can be provided upon request. The fixture is designed to seamlessly integrate into existing control networks, ensuring smooth operation across different environments.
