The CUETE® spot luminaire offers a compact, high-performance lighting solution ideal for smaller performance venues and installation spaces. Despite its modest size, it delivers exceptionally fast pan and tilt movement—features highly favored in EDM events, nightclubs, and DJ setups—enhancing dynamic projections and effects. Its superior CMY colour mixing system, combined with a powerful 5,300-lumen output of crisp white light, ensures CUETE® performs well beyond expectations.
To achieve consistent high-quality output across multiple units, CUETE® employs Robe’s patented TRANSFERABLE ENGINE technology, utilizing the TE™ 120W White LED Engine. This system guarantees excellent consistency in light performance, while also offering long-term reliability. The fixture includes a fixed 16-degree beam lens with remote-controlled focus, which can be swapped with an optional 22-degree lens—ideal for short-throw applications and venues with low ceilings.
CUETE® integrates an impressive suite of Robe’s proprietary technologies. CPulse™ flicker-free management ensures compatibility with HD, UHD, 8K, and even 16K cameras, while L3™ Low Light Linearity provides ultra-smooth, imperceptible fades to black. AirLOC™, or Less Optical Cleaning technology, helps maintain pristine optical performance over time by minimizing airborne dust accumulation.
The fixture is loaded with dynamic features, including a colour wheel offering 13 dichroic filters, a rotating gobo wheel with nine fully indexable and replaceable gobos, and a static gobo wheel equipped with six fixed gobos and four beam reducers. Additionally, it features an 8-facet bi-directional rotating prism and a 5-degree frost filter for smooth wash effects. These features, paired with its speed and compact footprint, make CUETE® a perfect companion to Robe’s LEDBeam 350™.
Designed for versatility, CUETE® outputs 5,300 lumens with a colour temperature of 6,700K and a minimum LED lifespan of 50,000 hours. Its proprietary optical system offers a 16° beam angle with remote focus, extendable to 22° using an optional lens. The fixture’s onboard effects include smooth CMY mixing, precise dimming (16-bit internal, with 18-bit resolution), strobing up to 20 Hz, and advanced indexing capabilities for gobos, prisms, frost, and focus.
Control and programming are streamlined with a two-row LCD display and four control buttons. CUETE® supports industry-standard protocols such as USITT DMX-512, RDM, Art-Net, sACN, and MA Net, with Robe’s Ethernet Access Portal (REAP™) and optional Wireless CRMX™ by Lumen Radio. The fixture includes an Epass™ Ethernet passthrough switch for uninterrupted network connectivity even when the fixture is unpowered.
CUETE® offers smooth 540° pan and 270° tilt movements, with high-resolution 16-bit control and automatic repositioning. Its rotating gobos are crafted from high-temperature borofloat glass and designed for easy replacement with Robe’s patented slot & lock system. The static gobo wheel includes aluminum gobos and beam reducers for added effect diversity.
Thermally, CUETE® operates between -5 °C and 45 °C, with surface temperatures up to 70 °C. It dissipates a maximum of 539 BTU/h. Electrically, it supports auto-ranging input voltages from 100 to 240V at 50/60Hz, with a peak power draw of 220W. Power and data connections include Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 in/out, locking 5-pin XLR for DMX/RDM, and RJ45 Ethernet ports with an optional embedded Epass™ switch.
