The ETC140-GB-CC LED is a gimbal version inground light equipped with an advanced RGBW/RGBA colour changer, designed to deliver dynamic and customizable lighting effects. Constructed from stainless steel with polymer-coated stainless steel hardware, it offers exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. The luminaire features a silicone rubber gasket and a safety glass lens capable of withstanding loads up to 5 tonnes, making it suitable for locations where it may be driven over at low speeds. It has an impact protection rating of IK10+ and an ingress protection rating of IP67*, with additional rigorous testing confirming resistance to IP68 for 3 hours at 0.1 bar up to 1 meter depth, as well as IP69K certification at 80°, ensuring reliable performance in harsh outdoor environments.
This fixture incorporates a factory-sealed termination chamber complete with a cable gland and 1.5 meters of flexible PVC-free cable, enhanced with spiral cable bending protection for improved cable longevity. The integral electronically controlled (EC) LED driver resides in a thermally separated compartment, supporting efficient heat management. The luminaire uses the OLC® One LED Concept with a factory-installed LED circuit board, which is housed in a ‘no tool’ removable gear and lens tray to facilitate easy maintenance and upgrades. It is gimbal-mounted, allowing 360° rotation and 30° tilt for precise beam aiming, and includes a DMX interface for advanced lighting control.
The ETC140-GB-CC offers versatile light distribution options, including symmetric wide and medium beams, asymmetric wall grazing, and wallwash, all optimized through CAD-designed optics for superior illumination quality and glare control. The power supply operates at 220-240V, 50-60 Hz with a power factor greater than 0.9, and surge protection rated at 1/2 kV, with an optional SP10 surge protection upgrade available. For installation, an optional blockout is recommended to ensure secure mounting and must be ordered separately. The luminaire is not suitable for permanent underwater operation and should be switched off if flooding occurs. An optional anti-slip ceramic coating (ASC), compliant with DIN 51130 Trip Classification 10, is available upon request to enhance safety on slippery surfaces.
