The nVault-15 is a versatile well light featuring a reversible angled or flat-top design, available in configurations of 3, 6, or 9 LEDs. Constructed from durable aluminum, it supports RGBW color capability when paired with ZDClink® controllers. The fixture offers a total light output of 543 lumens and power consumption varying by model, ranging from 4.4 W up to 12.2 W. It operates on an input voltage of 10-15 Vac/dc for white light and 11-15 Vac for RGBW, requiring a remote transformer that must be specified separately. Installation is designed exclusively for upward lighting direction to optimize performance and safety.
This luminaire features an integral driver and uses high-quality LEDs: Lumileds® for white light and Cree® for RGBW models. Thermal management is handled by CoolDrive™, an onboard system that monitors and controls temperature to ensure reliable operation. The expected lifetime for white LEDs exceeds 72,000 hours, while RGBW LEDs last over 55,000 hours, according to L70, B10, and TM21 testing standards. For dimming, the nVault-15 supports Luxor® control technology or a trailing-edge (reverse phase-cut) dimmer, allowing precise control over brightness levels.
The ZDClink Controller with Luxor Technology™ enables zoning of luminaires into up to 250 groups, with dimming increments as fine as 1% and access to over 30,000 colors for RGBW LEDs. Customers can choose between the ZD option for zoning and dimming or the ZDC option for zoning, dimming, and color control. By default, the nVault-15 is zoneable when used with ZDClink.
Physically, the fixture combines a die-cast faceplate made from C360 brass or A380 aluminum with a machined aluminum housing that is powder-coated for durability. It incorporates a mix of brass and stainless steel hardware, complemented by a PBT construction sleeve. Faceplate finishes include natural brass, antiqued options with brushed or tumbled effects, or a two-layer marine-grade anodized finish protected by polyester TGIC powder coat. Antique finishes are sealed with a clear TGIC layer and meet ASTM testing standards. The sleeve’s standard color is molded into the polycarbonate housing for consistent appearance.
The white LED version offers field-serviceable beam angles of Spot (20°), Flood (35°), or Wide Flood (60°), with the option to achieve a Narrow Spot (10°) by removing the beam angle lens on-site. RGBW versions have a fixed beam angle. The internal LED module provides 20 degrees of tilt adjustment for aiming flexibility. Wiring uses 18 AWG, 10-foot long cables rated for high temperature and voltage. A special MicroAntileach™ technology prevents moisture from wicking into sealed areas, protecting the luminaire’s internals.
Designed to withstand challenging environments, the nVault-15 operates within an ambient temperature range of 0°F to 140°F (-18°C to 60°C). Its lens is made from OptiClear™ tempered glass, offering exceptional clarity and mechanical strength, and the fixture includes tamper-resistant stainless steel hardware for security. The housing supports 1, 3, 6, or 9 LEDs or the ZDC-L configuration, and the entire unit weighs 2.2 pounds (1.0 kg).
The nVault-15 carries an IP67 rating for dust and water ingress, making it suitable for dry, damp, and wet locations. It is also approved for drive-over applications up to 4,496 pounds (20 kN), compliant with IES 60598-1 standards. Certifications include UL 1838, CSA C22.2 No. 250.7, IEC 60598-1, IEC 605598-2-4, FCC Part 15, ISED Canada ICES-005, and various EN standards for electromagnetic compatibility and safety.
