The TRO259 LED is a recessed wall luminaire designed for architectural applications requiring robust construction and discreet integration. Engineered with a marine-grade die-cast aluminium alloy body and protected by 5CE superior corrosion protection, it is built to endure demanding outdoor environments, including coastal and urban installations. All fasteners are made from PCS polymer-coated stainless steel to further enhance durability and resistance to corrosion. With an IP55 rating for ingress protection and IK10 for impact resistance, the TRO259 ensures long-term performance in both sheltered outdoor and indoor locations.
This luminaire is fitted with a polycarbonate main lens that provides durability and impact resistance while allowing for effective light distribution. A silicone rubber gasket ensures a reliable seal against dust and water, maintaining the integrity of the luminaire over time. Two cable entries are included for convenient wiring access, and the LED circuit board is factory-installed to simplify installation and reduce on-site labor. The integral EC electronic converter is built into the fixture, providing reliable power regulation, and the unit supports 220–240V operation at 50–60 Hz with 1/2 kV surge protection.
For installations in concrete walls, a pre-installation blockout is available and strongly recommended to streamline the mounting process and ensure proper fixture alignment. The TRO259 LED is available in a range of architectural finishes, including RAL9004 Signal Black, RAL9006 White Aluminium, RAL9007 Grey Aluminium, RAL7016 Anthracite Grey, and RAL9016 Traffic White, allowing it to blend seamlessly into a variety of design schemes.
