Housings are constructed of steel and designed for new construction applications. They are non I.C. rated and not suitable for use in insulated ceilings (North America only). The spotlight arrays themselves are housed in die-cast aluminum, ensuring durability and excellent thermal performance. The fully articulating gimbal mechanism offers smooth adjustability on two axes, enabling precise aiming and orientation of each spotlight.
Trim choices include standard removable flanges with a width of 19mm (0.75 inches) in White, Black, or Silver finishes, or a trimless option for seamless architectural integration. The trimless version includes mesh plates that allow drywall or plaster to be finished cleanly to the edge of the fixture. Both trim and trimless variants are suitable for ceiling thicknesses ranging from 12mm (0.5 inches) to 31mm (1.25 inches).
An optional integral emergency system (North America only) provides 1.5 hours of emergency lighting and includes a self-contained inverter module, NiCad batteries, LED charge indicator, and test switch. Electrical access is designed for maximum convenience, with no need for ceiling access and driver serviceability from below. The system supports through-branch wiring for streamlined installation.
Mounting hardware includes butterfly brackets, C-channel supports, T-bar fasteners, bar hangers, and designated suspension points for secure attachment in a variety of ceiling types. High-performance reflectors feature a vacuum-plated, highly reflective specular finish to maximize output and control glare.
