Reading mode offers 400–800 lux at a 45-degree incline, ideal for patients in upright positions, with a 3:1 uniformity. Drivers include Lutron Hi-lume EcoSystem (1% dimming with Soft-on, Fade-to-Black), DALI, DMX, EldoLED LEDcode, and BIOS-enabled options. BIOS configurations include both static spectrum control (STC) and DynamicCare™ (DCA), which incorporates Bio-Dimming™—a dynamic reduction of SkyBlue spectrum for circadian-sensitive lighting. Tunable white drivers are also supported through various protocols including DALI Type 6 and Type 8, 0-10V dual-channel dimming, and Lutron DALI systems.
The luminaire is available with input voltages of 120V, 277V, 347V, universal (UNV), and DC, with optional integral or remote emergency battery backup. Certified for use in dry and damp indoor environments, it operates reliably within a temperature range of -20°C to +40°C. CRI options include a minimum of 80 or 90, with BIOS configurations offering R9 values above 75 across all CCTs for superior color fidelity. Color consistency is tightly controlled within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse, both within individual fixtures and across groups.
