The integrated Lumileds® Luxeon® Z ES high-power LEDs utilize an undomed design for precise light control and are color matched within a tight three-step MacAdam ellipse for consistent color quality. Available color temperatures include 3,000K and 4,000K, with lumen outputs ranging from 372 to 691 depending on the model and optics selected. The Floor Graze optics direct light along the floor for low mounting heights up to 6 inches, while the Performance Wash option optimizes illumination for heights between 6 and 24 inches.
The A-HS includes a five-conductor wiring harness with MoistureBlock™ technology, which prevents moisture from penetrating sealed areas via the wiring, enhancing the fixture’s reliability. Its die-cast A380 aluminum body, paired with a die-cast aluminum faceplate and UV-stabilized polycarbonate lens, meets stringent IK09 impact testing standards. The polycarbonate construction sleeve is approved for installation in concrete and includes vertical and horizontal ½-inch NPT knockouts, with a construction cover provided for protection during installation. Stainless steel machine screws secure the assembly, ensuring tamper resistance and durability.
With a weight of approximately 4.2 pounds (1.9 kg), the fixture is designed for recessed installation on vertical surfaces. It operates efficiently across a wide ambient temperature range, from -13°F to 140°F (-25°C to 60°C) depending on the model. The A-HS supports advanced lighting control through Luxor technology, enabling zoning of up to 250 groups with dimming in 1% increments. When paired with the Luxor Cube, users can also access RGBW color options with the ZDC control option. This flexible control system allows for sophisticated lighting design and energy management.
