Constructed with a durable aluminum body and finished with a protective powder coating, the Tunnel fixture is designed for both longevity and elegance. It features integral HPF electronic drivers compatible with 120-277V and 347V in North America, as well as 240V in Europe, all housed within the fixture itself for streamlined installation and maintenance. The diffuser is made of opal acrylic and measures 2.4 inches in width, providing soft, uniform illumination.
Tunnel can integrate seamlessly into modern data networks through Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity, enhancing its functionality within smart building systems. For advanced circadian lighting needs, the fixture is compatible with BIOS systems; interested parties should consult the factory for details. The fixture also offers tunable white options ranging from 2700K to 6500K, allowing precise control over color temperature to suit various environments and moods. Additionally, an RGBW version is available upon request, providing dynamic color-changing capabilities for creative lighting designs.
Mechanically, Tunnel luminaires mount directly over a J-box, which is supplied by others, simplifying installation. An optional remote emergency lighting system provides 1.5 hours of emergency illumination in North America and 3 hours in Europe. This system includes an inverter module, NiCad batteries, and a remote wall or ceiling-mounted LED charge indicator and test switch. The test switch fits into a single gang box (not supplied), with a maximum allowed distance of 15 feet (4.5 meters) between the luminaire and the emergency system’s wall or ceiling plate.
Tunnel is available in customizable lengths in 1-inch increments, allowing for precise adaptation to project requirements; inquiries for specific configurations should be directed to the factory. The fixture demonstrates impressive longevity with a reported L70 life exceeding 60,000 hours at 25°C (77°F) at 1400 lumens per foot (4600 lumens per meter), and an estimated L70 extending beyond 165,000 hours under the same conditions.
The delivered lumens and efficacy ratings are based on LEDs at 4000K with a minimum color rendering index (CRI) of 80, ensuring bright, high-quality light output.
