Engineered for safety, durability, and ease of maintenance, it features a tough 4 mm thick polycarbonate diffuser—available in clear or satin finishes—secured with a strong spun steel ring and tamper-resistant T20 pin Torx screws. This robust construction ensures reliable performance in challenging environments while maintaining a clean, discreet appearance.
The luminaire is supplied with a remote gear unit and a 2-meter supply lead, allowing for flexibility in installation. An anti-pick sealant can be used around the bezel to enhance security while still allowing for maintenance access when needed. For added functionality, SmartScan Radar versions are available with sensors discreetly hidden behind the cover, providing intelligent presence detection at heights up to 4 meters without compromising the clean design. Maintained emergency versions are also offered, delivering between 260 to 330 lumens during emergency operation with a duration of up to 3 hours, powered by a reliable Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery.
Designed for recessed mounting, the G3 AL is rated IP65 for its front-facing components, offering strong protection against dust and water ingress (IP20 above ceiling). With an impact rating of IK10, it withstands severe physical abuse, making it ideal for custodial, behavioral, and other secure settings. The LED engine delivers between 835 and 1,940 lumens, with a high efficacy of up to 106.5 lumens per circuit watt and a color temperature of 4000 K. The luminaire ensures visual comfort and long-term reliability with a CRI of 80+ and a rated lifetime of 63,000 hours at L80/B10.
