The Obelux Low-Intensity Portable (LI-P) obstruction light is a compact, battery-operated LED beacon designed for reliable temporary marking of obstacles in outdoor environments. Battery configuration can be scaled up to four batteries, delivering a total capacity of 100 Ah at 12 VDC. The unit’s nominal voltage is 12 VDC with an operating range from 10 to 16 VDC. Depending on beam coverage mode—160°, 280°, or 360°—continuous operating times range from approximately 1500 hours down to 375 hours, enabling adaptable power management based on visibility requirements.
Optically, the LI-P light supports both fixed and flashing modes, adjustable by the user, with output options of 10 candela or 32 candela in aviation red. Additionally, NVG-compliant infrared output at 850nm is available, supporting both civilian and tactical night operations. The LI-P is fully compliant with international aviation standards, including ICAO Annex 14 Volume 1, 8th Edition, for low-intensity light Types A, B, and E, and meets FAA distribution requirements for L-810 and L-810F classifications. Optional GPS synchronization is available for coordinated flash timing across multiple units in larger temporary installations.
