The PIXA headlamp is a compact, rugged, and waterproof lighting solution specifically engineered for professionals working in demanding industrial and maintenance environments. Emitting up to 450 lumens in BOOST mode, the PIXA combines durability with versatility, offering consistent performance in challenging conditions. With its robust design, it resists impacts (IK08), falls from up to 2 meters, and crush pressure up to 80 kilograms. Additionally, it is IP68-rated, ensuring dustproof protection and waterproof operation down to 2 meters for up to one hour. The headlamp is also resistant to several commonly encountered chemicals such as alcohol, bleach, mineral spirits, hexane, and silicone sealant, making it suitable for a wide range of work conditions—though it is not certified for use in explosive atmospheres.
Lighting performance is enhanced by CONSTANT LIGHTING technology, which maintains a steady level of brightness throughout the battery’s charge. The PIXA features multiple beam types—including wide, mixed, and focused—to accommodate various work scenarios such as close-range tasks, movement, and long-distance viewing. A 10-second BOOST mode provides a temporary burst of maximum brightness when needed.
User-friendly and practical, the PIXA is operated via a single rotating selector knob located on the side of the unit. This knob is glove-compatible and prevents contamination of the lens during adjustments. The lamp includes a tilt plate for easy beam angle control and a battery indicator that displays charge status when the lamp is turned on or off. For added security during transport or storage, the lamp automatically locks when turned off and rotates 180° to shield the lens.
Comfort and adaptability are also priorities in the PIXA’s design. The adjustable headband is symmetrical, washable, and easily removable. The headlamp includes a SLOT ADAPT plate for effortless integration with Petzl professional helmets. It’s also compatible with the HELMET ADAPT adhesive plate (sold separately), enabling use with a wider range of helmet types. The PIXA comes standard with three AAA/LR03 batteries, and thanks to its HYBRID CONCEPT, it can also be powered by the Petzl CORE rechargeable battery (sold separately).
