The sDelta-8 is a surface-mounted LED luminaire designed with a simple cylindrical drum form that blends seamlessly into both classic and contemporary architectural settings. It is available in configurations of 3, 6, or 9 LEDs and can be ordered in a standard white light version or an RGBW version compatible with ZDClink® Controllers for advanced control capabilities. This fixture is intended exclusively for downward-facing installation, making it ideal for applications requiring glare-free, directed illumination.
Delivering up to 864 lumens, the sDelta-8 operates on an input voltage of 10–15 Vac/dc for white light models and 11–15 Vac for RGBW models, at 50/60 Hz. The system includes an integral driver and requires a separately specified remote transformer. White models utilize Lumileds® LEDs, while the RGBW models are powered by Cree® LEDs. The onboard CoolDrive™ thermal management system ensures reliable performance, with a rated lifetime of over 72,000 hours for white LEDs and over 55,000 hours for RGBW, both based on TM21-reported data at L70 and B10 levels.
For advanced lighting control, the sDelta-8 supports Luxor® Technology via ZDClink Controllers. This allows luminaires to be zoned into up to 250 groups, dimmed in 1% increments from 0% to 100%, or dynamically color-controlled through more than 30,000 color combinations in RGBW models. Dimming is also compatible with trailing-edge (reverse phase-cut) dimmers.
Constructed from durable die-cast A380 aluminum with tamper-resistant stainless steel hardware, the sDelta-8 is built to withstand harsh environmental conditions. Its marine-grade anodization and polyester TGIC powder-coat finish have been tested to ASTM standards for superior outdoor performance. The fixture ships with a stainless steel mounting bracket that fits standard North American 4" round junction boxes.
Beam angle options for white light include Spot (20°), Flood (35°), and Wide Flood (60°), with a field-serviceable lens system. A 10° Narrow Spot can be achieved by removing the beam lens on-site. RGBW models have a fixed beam angle. The OptiClear™ tempered glass lens ensures optical clarity and strength, with frosted transparency for RGBW and clear for white. MicroAntileach™ socket technology prevents moisture ingress, and a full cutoff shield offers precise glare control.
Designed for use in dry, damp, and wet locations, the sDelta-8 operates within ambient temperatures from 0°F to 140°F (-18°C to 60°C) and holds an IP64 rating. The luminaire is Dark-Sky compliant when using a 3,000K or lower color temperature, and its BUG rating of B0-U0-G0 ensures minimal uplight and glare. This fixture combines rugged durability, intelligent control, and sleek aesthetics, making it a versatile choice for architectural and landscape lighting.
