The NL Up/Down Light is a sleek, wall-mounted geometric fixture designed for both downlight and up/down sconce configurations. Available in 3, 6, or 9 LED outputs, this versatile luminaire suits a wide range of architectural and landscape lighting applications. Constructed from either durable die-cast aluminum or solid brass, it offers a selection of natural, powder-coated, or antique brass and copper finishes. An RGBW option is also available, compatible with Luxor® lighting control systems for zoning, dimming, and full color-changing capabilities.
This fixture integrates Lumileds® LEDs and features tamper-resistant hardware, a robust 10–15V input voltage range, and compatibility with both phase and PWM dimming protocols. The NL light produces up to 1,715 lumens with a high efficacy of up to 73 lumens per watt, depending on the model. All models feature a consistent 60° beam angle (50° for RGBW) and high CRI ratings (84+ for standard, 80+ for RGBW), ensuring excellent color rendering in outdoor environments. Designed for performance and longevity, the standard models are rated to 72,000 hours (L70), with RGBW versions rated to 55,000 hours.
The fixture body is engineered from either A380 aluminum or C360 brass, with stainless steel fasteners and mounting brackets ensuring long-lasting structural integrity. A C360 brass shroud and optional C110 copper cover provide additional glare control and aesthetic refinement. A tempered glass lens resists shock and thermal stress, while the socket incorporates MoistureBlock™ technology to prevent water ingress. Internally, gold-plated connectors and a conformal coating enhance reliability and corrosion resistance. The intelligent onboard driver uses firmware-based temperature regulation to extend LED life, and all LEDs are field-upgradeable and replaceable.
Each fixture includes polycarbonate lenses for field-adjustable color temperature—ranging from 2700K (preinstalled) to 5200K—and interchangeable beam optics from 10° to 58°. MR-16 size accessories such as spread lenses and hex baffles can further customize beam control. The fixture requires a remote transformer for operation and includes 10 feet (3 meters) of 18 AWG SPT-1W wiring for ease of installation.
Weighing 3.9 lbs (1.8 kg), the NL Up/Down Light is rated for ambient operating temperatures from 0°F to 140°F (-18°C to 60°C) and is suitable for installation in downward or vertical orientations only (NL-DN and NL-UD, respectively). For coastal or environmentally sensitive projects, the 3LED Downlight model is Wildlife Lighting Certified by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Designed with sustainability in mind, the NL series incorporates recycled materials where possible while maintaining performance and durability. Additionally, it complies with IEC 60598-1 and IEC 60598-2-7 standards when used with a custom installation kit (WP-2G-NL-E-XX), making it suitable for international applications.
