BEGA performance floodlights deliver precise light deflection and clean distribution, free from disturbing artifacts, thanks to the innovative BEGA Vortex Optics® reflectors (European patent EP 3098504). These virtually wear-free optics use a specialized louvre structure that not only intensively focuses the light but also significantly enhances visual comfort through effective glare suppression. Complementing this optical precision is the robust build quality of the floodlights, featuring cast aluminium housing and safety glass, along with a reflector surface crafted from pure aluminium.
To ensure long-term durability and reliability even under extreme environmental conditions, the luminaires are finished with BEGA’s proprietary Unidure® powder coating. This highly weather-resistant coating meets the world’s most stringent standards for weathering and UV stability. Additionally, BEGA Thermal Management® safeguards internal components against damage caused by elevated ambient temperatures, maintaining optimal performance and longevity.
Available in various mounting options, the floodlights are adaptable to a wide range of applications. Versions with mounting boxes can be installed on walls, ceilings, or customer-provided foundations. Models with G ½ threaded connections offer compatibility with existing on-site threaded holes and, when combined with BEGA accessories, support a variety of custom installations. Floodlights with earth spikes are ideal for temporary setups in outdoor environments, providing flexibility in placement without the need for permanent fixtures. For installations on non-standard surfaces like trees, pipes, or wooden structures, connection adapters and accessories expand the mounting possibilities.
The RGBW versions of these floodlights are compatible with DALI colour light control systems (DT8, RGBWAF, xy), offering fine-tuned control over light colour and dynamics. Some models, such as those with a 250mm dimension, are also manually adjustable in four distinct steps to better direct the light as needed.
BEGA UniLink® versions of these floodlights are supplied with a pre-attached five-metre connection cable and waterproof plug connector, enabling seamless integration into modular lighting systems. These plug-and-play solutions allow for quick installation of multiple luminaires across extended areas such as gardens. UniLink® systems can be expanded at any time using optional five-way distribution boxes and extension cables. All UniLink® cables are flexible and can be easily routed on the ground, through trees, or along structural elements, ensuring effortless adaptation to evolving landscape designs.
