Vigg Table is a thoughtfully engineered task light designed to meet the demands of contemporary work environments, whether in professional offices or home workspaces. Developed in collaboration with Arup, Vigg delivers focused illumination with excellent glare control, making it ideal for tasks requiring visual precision. Its sleek, minimalist form complements a wide range of interiors while emphasizing functionality, sustainability, and user well-being.
Crafted from high-quality materials, the Vigg features a die-cast zinc base and head, lending a solid, seamless feel to the design. A precision-engineered heatsink in die-cast aluminum ensures optimal thermal performance, while the stem, made of partly recycled steel, adds structural integrity with a refined look. The baseplate is composed of cork and rubber, providing a soft yet stable connection to any surface, and the black reflector, made from partly recycled plastic, contributes to both glare control and sustainability.
Performance is at the core of Vigg’s design. Users can choose between 3000K or 4000K color temperatures, both delivering a high color rendering index (CRI 90) for accurate and natural lighting. Built to last, Vigg maintains 90% of its brightness after 50,000 hours of use, offering dependable performance for years. The integrated lens delivers a well-defined beam of light to the workspace, while the black reflector helps reduce contrast and soften the visual impact.
Vigg’s design prioritizes precision and simplicity. The lamp head can be tilted up to 90° upward and 40° downward, allowing users to fine-tune the lighting angle for optimal visibility. It is deliberately non-rotatable to ensure stable, consistent placement without unintended movement. Control is intuitive: a single push-button on the base allows for smooth dimming, and users can specify at order whether the built-in auto-off timer is set to one hour or four hours. This feature not only encourages healthy breaks but also supports energy conservation.
The light is supplied with a 2-meter cable (2x0.75 mm²) with a plug and an integrated power supply unit. The DC connection on the cable allows for easy upgrades or replacement of the power supply, further supporting the product’s circular design initiative. Vigg is built with longevity in mind, offering easy servicing and refurbishment options to extend its lifecycle and reduce environmental impact.
