The Nitecore HU2000 is a powerful, split-style headlamp designed for high-performance lighting with maximum comfort and flexibility. Emitting up to 2000 lumens through a 10-core ultra-high-efficiency LED, the HU2000 offers wide, even illumination with a beam distance of up to 174 yards. Its innovative split design separates the light unit from the power source, significantly reducing weight on the head and minimizing fatigue during extended use. This configuration allows the power bank to be stowed in a pocket or backpack while the lightweight lamp—just 4 ounces—remains comfortably secured to the head or clothing. Designed for versatility, the HU2000 features both white and red lighting modes. The primary white light delivers up to five brightness levels, including an instant turbo mode for maximum output. A secondary red light offers Low, High, and Slow Flashing modes, helping to preserve night vision and serve as a long-lasting signal in emergencies. Additionally, the HU2000 includes SOS and Beacon modes to assist in critical situations.
The HU2000 supports multiple power options via USB-C and is compatible with external power sources such as the Nitecore NB10000 Gen 3. A USB-C extension cable with a hook-and-loop fastener ensures a stable, secure connection between the lamp and power bank. When connected to a ≥20W power source, users can fully access turbo mode and enjoy runtimes of up to 66 hours on the lowest white setting. In the event of a power interruption or battery swap, the HU2000 automatically switches to its built-in 3.6V emergency backup battery, offering approximately 30 minutes of temporary lighting until a new power source is connected.
