Operating the EDC27 UHi is simple and intuitive, featuring a dual tail switch system designed for one-handed use. A full press of the Power Button turns the flashlight on or off, while a half-press cycles through four brightness levels—all clearly displayed on the multifunctional OLED screen, which provides real-time readouts of output, battery voltage, and remaining runtime. For quick access to specific settings, the Level Preset Function lets you jump directly to your preferred output. The flashlight also includes Ultralow, Turbo, and Strobe modes, easily activated by partial or full presses of the Mode Button. In case of accidental activation in high-output modes, the updated Sensor Protection system automatically reduces brightness to prevent overheating—an intelligent safeguard that ensures long-term reliability.
Powering the EDC27 UHi is a built-in 1700mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, chargeable via the integrated USB-C port.
