The Kanby Max reflector luminaires are designed specifically for industrial applications, offering extremely high efficiency and long life. These LED luminaires come in two versions: a narrow version tailored for racking applications that provides controlled lighting to higher rack positions, and a broad version suitable for general area lighting. Their superior light distribution allows for greater spacing between fixtures, which results in the need for fewer luminaires with lower wattage compared to comparable T5 solutions.
Ideal for use in retail and distribution storage areas, factory environments including assembly workshops, and data centers, Kanby Max luminaires are built with high-quality control gear and LEDs engineered to achieve a life expectancy of 100,000 hours. The integration of SmartScan wireless technology eliminates the need for control cabling, making these luminaires particularly suitable for retro-fit projects.
The luminaires are surface-mounted and rated at IP20, with a maximum presence detection height of 8 meters. Their lumen output ranges from 3,840 to 9,115 lumens, achieving an efficacy of up to 157.5 lumens per circuit watt. For emergency situations, the Kanby Max provides maintained emergency lighting with an output between 600 and 615 lumens, supported by a Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery that sustains illumination for three hours.
Powered by LED modules ranging from 22 to 52 watts, with overall circuit power between 25 and 59 watts, these luminaires deliver color rendering index (CRI) values above 80 and a color temperature of 4000K. The rated life is 100,000 hours based on L70/B10 standards. The product complies with UKCA and CE regulations and contains a light source classified in energy efficiency class B.
