Nanoleaf Blocks come in a mix of large squares, small squares, and textured squares, each delivering edge-to-edge RGBW illumination and vibrant color animation. The panels emit up to 320 lumens (large squares), 230 lumens (textured), and 70 lumens (small), with full dimmability and color control across more than 16 million options. Whether you’re designing minimalist layouts or expressive pixel-art scenes, the panels provide flexibility with seamless connections, animated effects, and advanced features like AI-generated Magic Scenes and Rhythm Music Visualizer. These elements bring your setup to life with pulsing effects that react to sound and music.
The system also includes a Light Pegboard and optional shelves that support both storage and display. The pegboard (62 lumens) and shelf are designed for function and durability, supporting weights up to 3kg and 1.5kg respectively. Pegboard hooks and shelf covers complete the system’s physical organization tools, letting you keep your desktop or wall space clutter-free while making your gear the centerpiece.
Control is smart and seamless through the Nanoleaf Mobile and Desktop Apps, available for iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac. You can also manage your lighting using popular voice assistants like Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, and Razer Chroma. Built-in Wi-Fi (2.4GHz only) powers your setup, with support for screen mirroring and Sync+ to match your lights with on-screen colors for gaming and movies. Upcoming firmware updates will even enable Thread Border Router functionality, enhancing your smart home integration.
Installation is versatile. While most panels adhere with double-sided mounting tape, the Light Pegboard and shelves must be screw-mounted for added stability. Each piece is crafted for indoor use, rated IP20, and built to operate in temperatures from 0°C to 40°C, with an estimated lifetime of 25,000 hours.
In terms of power, each standard panel (large, textured, pegboard) consumes 3W, while the small squares use 0.8W. A single 42W power supply supports up to 17 large-format panels or 60 small squares. The system can be expanded to a maximum of 500 panels per controller, with additional power supplies as needed.
