Slope, designed by Industrial Facility for Urbidermis, is a minimalist area luminaire that subtly angles nine degrees to echo and blend with the natural topography of urban environments. Its ultra-slim silhouette—less than an inch at its thinnest point—brings a refined, modern accent to city parks, pathways, and streetscapes. This design not only complements contemporary architecture and landscape design but also delivers precise illumination through its advanced LED array system.
The fixture is available in both area and wall-mounted versions, with options for 18 or 36 LED configurations. These models come with multiple beam distributions, three power outputs, and a choice of 3000K or 4000K color temperatures to suit a wide range of applications. The Slope luminaire features a clear or opal (diffused) tempered glass lens for visual comfort, and provides full cut-off lighting to minimize glare and light spill—earning it International Dark-Sky approval.
Slope luminaires are constructed from die-cast aluminum and finished in either Dusk or Aluminum Silver powdercoat. The pole options, manufactured from seamless 6061 aluminum tubing and heat-treated to a T6 temper, are available in five standard heights (3.4m, 4.2m, 5.0m, 5.8m, and 6.6m) and a variety of colors. Each round pole has a 4.5" diameter and a nominal wall thickness of 0.125", with a flush-mounted hand hole cover secured by magni-coated fasteners. The mounting arm allows rotation for flexible light placement, while retrofit kits are available to adapt Slope to various pole diameters.
Technically, Slope incorporates a PCB LED light source using Cree XPG2 technology and operates on 120V-277V 50/60Hz with a Class 2 integrated dimmable driver. Standard 1-10V dimming is included, with DALI-compatible dimming available on request. The housing is sealed by a frameless glass lens and mounts to a die-cast bracket on the pole, secured with two screws. The luminaire is UL Listed for wet locations, carries an IP66 protection rating, weighs just 13.6 lbs (luminaire only), and has an EPA rating of 0.35 ft². Slope ships prewired and fully assembled for efficient installation, with all relevant specifications detailed in the installation guide.
