Pluggie is the latest addition to the Plug Lamp series, offering an updated take on functional lighting by integrating two USB charging ports instead of the traditional electrical socket. Designed by the acclaimed studio Form Us With Love, Pluggie is tailored for modern meeting spaces, hotel rooms, lounges, and workstations—anywhere that seamless access to charging is essential. As designer John Löfgren explains, “Pluggie is an obvious choice when it comes to meeting places and workstations where charging opportunities are a natural part of the environment.”
With a sturdy base crafted from die-cast aluminium and a softly rounded opal glass shade, Pluggie merges minimalist Scandinavian design with everyday utility. At the center of the base, two USB Type A sockets are neatly integrated, emphasizing the lamp’s dual function. The upper USB port delivers 5V at 1A, while the lower provides a faster 5V at 2A, enabling users to charge a variety of devices directly from the luminaire.
Lighting control is intuitive and user-friendly. A manual dimmer knob, which also acts as the On/Off switch, allows the light intensity to be adjusted easily to suit the environment or task at hand. The luminaire comes equipped with a high-quality LED module that emits a warm 2700K light and is dimmable via reverse phase control. The opal glass diffuser ensures a soft and even glow, perfect for creating comfortable and functional lighting in shared or personal spaces.
Pluggie is powered via a 2-meter black cable with a plug-in driver, and it is designed for surface mounting. It includes a fixed LED light source rated under energy efficiency class F, in accordance with EU Regulation No. 2019/2015. With its blend of clean aesthetics, practical lighting, and integrated USB charging, Pluggie stands out as a versatile and modern table lamp for today’s connected environments.
