Designer Mårten Cyrén describes the essence of the Tipi Floor lamp with a simple yet powerful statement: “The simplicity is important. It shouldn’t feel too high-tech.” This philosophy is reflected in Tipi’s natural aesthetic and intuitive form, inspired by the serene landscapes and rustic charm of the Swedish North. Echoing the sticks, twigs, and soothing sounds of Scandinavian woodlands, Tipi evokes the gentle glow and inviting warmth of a portable campfire.
Crafted for both indoor and outdoor use, Tipi features a structure made from heat-treated ash wood slats, with the top section and signature round handle in die-cast aluminium. The tube and supportive circular structure are formed from durable stainless steel. The fixture is available in two heights—740 mm and 530 mm—offering flexibility depending on the space and desired ambiance. The round aluminium handle not only adds to its distinctive silhouette but also makes the lamp easy to move, underscoring its portable nature.
Delivered in four separate parts, Tipi is designed for straightforward assembly. The light engine and three leg components effortlessly snap together into a stable cone formation, supported by clear instructions. Its standard finish includes natural dark ash wood, accented by aluminium in RAL9007 textured finish and brushed stainless steel details.
The lamp comes equipped with a 4.5-meter black rubber cable with a grounded plug, offering practical reach for various indoor and outdoor settings. It is designed to house an E27 LED bulb, which is recommended for optimal performance. With its rustic elegance, modern materiality, and campfire-inspired glow, Tipi adds warmth and character to any space—no cords or complexity required.
