For this particular luminaire series, we developed a custom LED module and combined it with proprietary glass to create a unique lighting element known as DUOLOGIC. This specially engineered opal glass delivers two distinct zones of brightness, providing a sophisticated balance of functionality and visual refinement.
The primary, high-intensity light zone is directed downward through the glass, ensuring optimal illumination on the surface below—perfect for applications above tables, counters, or reception desks. Simultaneously, a secondary light zone radiates upward to highlight the lower edge of the opal glass, creating an elegant accent effect. A metal shield surrounds the glass, offering superior lateral glare control and enhancing visual comfort.
These luminaires are part of the BEGA system pendant series, designed to accommodate various ceiling construction types. With this modular system, installation components can be selected to match specific project needs, allowing for seamless integration and efficient lighting design.
Each fixture features a robust metal housing paired with rod suspension and the signature DUOLOGIC opal glass. The pendant is equipped with a black cable, and special suspension lengths can be ordered upon request to meet specific architectural requirements.
The luminaires come with either on/off or DALI-controllable power supply units and offer a high color rendering index (CRI > 90), ensuring true-to-life color representation. When used with canopy types AS or CS, even on/off versions become dimmable, expanding lighting flexibility.
