Designer Olle Lundberg has introduced the Linx post luminaire to ateljé Lyktan’s outdoor lighting collection, bringing a minimalist design that fits seamlessly into modern landscapes. Linx stands out with its ability to complement both contemporary surroundings and provide striking contrast when placed near older, more varied architecture. According to Lundberg, it is essential that the luminaire directs light effectively without causing glare, ensuring the light is present but comfortable to the eye.
The Linx luminaire features a robust housing and pole connection made from die-cast aluminium, paired with a shade crafted from high-impact acrylic. Inside, a white-painted aluminium reflector enhances light distribution. The luminaire is equipped with wide-beamed LEDIL lenses and a high-tech frosted film diffuser that optimizes light scattering while minimizing glare. It includes a high-performance LED module using Cree XP-G3 LEDs, available in color temperatures of 3000K or 4000K, with a color rendering index (CRI) of 80 and a chromaticity tolerance of 3 SDCM. The LED module is rated for a long lifespan, offering L90 B10 at 60,000 hours and L80 B10 at 100,000 hours.
Designed for mounting on 60 mm poles, Linx comes with a 6-meter, 5-wire connection cable. Its round, symmetrical light output ensures even illumination, while the luminaire’s programmable driver supports advanced outdoor functions such as DALI control, night dimming, constant lumen output (CLO), and selectable lumen packages. A Zhaga socket option is available upon request for flexible integration with smart city systems.
Weighing 9.2 kilograms, the luminaire has an IK10 impact resistance rating and a compact projected wind area of 0.06 m², ensuring durability in outdoor conditions. The standard corrosion-resistant paint finish is rated for corrosivity category C3, suitable for urban and industrial environments with moderate sulfur dioxide pollution or coastal influences. For harsher environments, a special protective treatment can be provided upon request. Note that the pole and connection box are not included but can be ordered separately.
