The LT Pendant’s construction reflects the same attention to detail and performance. The housing is extruded aluminum for lightweight durability, paired with die-cast aluminum end caps and joiners. Cold-rolled sheet steel top covers add structural rigidity. Optics include a uniform frosted acrylic smooth lens, a satin ribbed lens for diffused glow, or flat blade louvers made from semi-specular aluminum for added glare control. These components work together to produce low-luminance surfaces while maintaining a visually comfortable output.
Power and control options are flexible and scalable. The LT supports a wide array of driver types, including Lutron Hi-lume (1% EcoSystem with Soft-on, Fade-to-Black), DALI (Types 6 and 8), DMX, and Xitanium SR for wireless sensor compatibility. Power over Ethernet (PoE) configurations are supported, including options from MOLEX, IGOR, and SMARTENGINE. All drivers are UL2108 certified and available for either integral or remote installation. Emergency battery packs or emergency circuit options are also available to meet code compliance.
The luminaire offers a choice of color temperatures—2700K, 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K—with tight color consistency maintained within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse, both within the fixture and across multiple fixtures. CRI options of 80 or 90 ensure high-quality rendering of skin tones, textiles, and surfaces. Tunable white functionality is also supported through Axis’ Axitune system and various compatible driver configurations. The LED system is engineered for a long lifetime—rated at 50,000 hours minimum with 85% lumen maintenance in 25°C ambient temperatures in accordance with IES LM-80.
Designed for indoor dry and damp locations, the LT Pendant operates reliably in ambient environments from 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F). Its extruded aluminum housing doubles as an efficient heat sink, supporting thermal performance and maintaining system longevity.
