The Riff Night Wall is a dynamic and flexible wall-mounted luminaire developed by designer Olle Lundberg, inspired by his extensive travels and observations of various bedside lighting solutions in hotels around the world. The concept behind Riff Night was to create a lighting product that combines functionality, flexibility, and ease of installation—while also accommodating modern needs such as device charging.
Designed with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic, the luminaire features a robust housing crafted from die-cast aluminium, paired with an interchangeable cotton shade that adds a soft, tactile element to the fixture. A key feature is the integrated LED reading light, which is rotatable to allow users to direct illumination precisely where it's needed. The reading light is equipped with an opal acrylic glare control to ensure visual comfort.
Riff Night Wall also includes a USB outlet (5V–1A), catering to the growing demand for convenient in-room charging options without sacrificing style. The combination of ambient up-light and targeted task lighting makes this fixture especially well-suited for hotel rooms and other hospitality settings.
For lighting, the Riff Night includes a 7W LED reading light with a warm 2700K color temperature and CRI of 80, offering comfortable and effective illumination. The up-light uses an E14 socket that supports a maximum 5W bulb (not included). This product contains a light source classified under energy efficiency class G, in accordance with EU Regulation 2019/2015.
Installation is adaptable to both recessed and surface-mounted applications, thanks to dual outlet holes that accommodate each method. Electrical connection is handled through a snap-in terminal block (2x2.5 mm²), allowing for quick and secure installation.
