The cylinder pendant light is available in three versions, designed to suit a wide range of lighting applications. In lighting design, two key factors often take precedence: achieving a high level of illuminance on the intended surface and providing an unshielded light component to ensure vertical illumination within the room. These pendant luminaires skillfully combine both functions. The unshielded light is generated by LED modules housed within an opal glass cylinder and is offered in various output levels. Additionally, a wide beam downlight produces efficient downward-directed light, enhancing the illumination of specific areas. For applications requiring light to be cast upwards—such as highlighting ceilings or architectural structures—these luminaires also offer versions with additional upward light emission. The different light functions can be controlled separately via DALI, allowing for highly customizable lighting atmospheres tailored to diverse needs.
Particularly noteworthy are the RGBW pendant luminaires, which enable separate control of the unshielded light color and the upward-directed light, creating versatile lighting effects. The downlight component, responsible for downward illumination, is available in either 3000 K or 4000 K color temperatures, providing consistent and warm light options. These luminaires feature BEGA Thermal Management® technology, ensuring optimal heat dissipation and long-term performance.
Constructed with a metal housing and canopy finished in white, the design includes opal and safety glass elements. The reflector is made of pure anodised aluminium, complemented by a silicone diffusing lens and BEGA Constant Optics® for uniform light distribution. The pendant is suspended by a white cable, with special cable lengths available upon request. All versions maintain a high colour rendering index (CRI) of over 90, ensuring excellent color fidelity for illuminated spaces.
The RGBW models are controllable through DALI colour light control systems (DT8, RGBWAF, xy), offering advanced flexibility in color and light management.
