Its robust yet minimal form factor features either a clear prismatic or opal polycarbonate cover, offering flexibility in light diffusion. An optional self-adhesive legend kit can be applied for use as an emergency exit sign, achieving a maximum viewing distance of 16.4 meters in accordance with BS EN 1838.
This versatile luminaire supports both maintained and non-maintained emergency operation modes, delivering emergency lumen outputs ranging from 210 to 310 lumens over a three-hour duration. Under normal operation, the luminaire provides 590 to 685 lumens of output using a 4-watt LED system, with a total circuit power of 6 watts. It features a 4000K color temperature and CRI of 80+, producing neutral white light with excellent color rendering. The LED system offers a long service life of up to 100,000 hours (L80/B10), ensuring dependable performance over time.
Surface-mounted and rated IP65, the Mini-8 is resistant to dust and moisture, making it suitable for rugged settings. It also complies with MOD JSP482 Chapter 8 for 'Category C' areas, and meets impact resistance standards DIN EN 18032 Part 3 and DIN VDE 0710 Part 13. SmartScan wireless technology is integrated to eliminate the need for control cabling, streamlining retrofits and reducing installation complexity. SmartScan Radar versions are also available, featuring discreetly integrated presence detection sensors with a maximum detection height of 4 meters.
