The warm white LED strobe/blinder with RGB backlight effects is a modular fixture built around a unique interlocking housing concept that allows multiple units to connect horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to form creative visual arrays. As one of three modular LED fixtures in the Nexys™ Series, it integrates seamlessly with its companion models and stands out with a distinctive vintage character. Its primary light source is an 80W, 2000K warm white LED that functions as a powerful retro-style strobe or blinder, delivering a broad 120° beam output suitable for bold accent lighting, audience impact moments, and dynamic visual punctuation in both live and installed environments. Complementing the warm white output, the fixture incorporates 24 SMD 5050 RGB LEDs arranged into six four-pixel backlight sections, allowing the RGB backlight effects to create contrasting color layers behind the warm white flash for added depth and visual dimension.
Optically, the fixture delivers both warmth and vibrancy, with smooth 0–100% dimming and strobe capabilities along with RGB backlight effects that can be individually controlled across its six inner pixel ring groups. The beam spreads evenly at 120°, producing 213 lux at 2.5 meters and 56 lux at 5 meters. Its reflective aluminum inner housing enhances output while the heavy-duty aluminum enclosure protects the unit in demanding production environments. Because the LEDs are driven by a constant-current system, the fixture maintains stable, flicker-free performance suitable for video applications.
For lighting control, the unit supports USITT DMX-512 with 4-, 8-, or 20-channel DMX modes, offering flexibility for simple to highly detailed programming. Users can access smooth dimming, strobe functions, RGB backlight control, and built-in programs, as well as manual color mixing directly from the fixture. Control is handled through a 4-button LCD menu, and the fixture supports master/slave and auto modes for fast deployment. Its 5-pin DMX input and output connections provide robust data handling, while power is delivered through powerCON® TRUE1-compatible in/out connectors for secure daisy-chaining in professional systems.
The fixture’s modular design allows users to build custom lighting arrays effortlessly, supported by dual mounting brackets and an Omega bracket equipped with quick-lock quarter-turn fasteners. This ensures reliable installation whether units are used independently or combined into larger geometric designs. With its warm white strobe/blinder output, individually controllable RGB pixel rings, interlocking housing, and rugged construction, this fixture offers a versatile, video-safe, and visually compelling solution for creative stage designs, immersive environments, and modern production applications.
