The LumenRadio Luna is a single-universe DMX transceiver that combines reliable wireless performance with Bluetooth connectivity in a compact and rugged form factor. Luna utilizes the same trusted CRMX technology found across LumenRadio devices, ensuring dependable wireless DMX communication with full compatibility for both CRMX and W-DMX G3/G4 protocols. The device supports Linking Key functionality, 5 ms latency, forward error correction, and 128-bit encryption at full refresh rate, delivering a complete and secure wireless DMX solution for a full universe of lighting control.
Configuration and control of Luna are simplified through Bluetooth 5.0. Using LumenRadio’s CRMX Toolbox App, users can adjust all device settings directly via the Bluetooth interface. The same interface allows DMX data to be transmitted from compatible lighting control apps without additional hardware, providing a seamless and flexible workflow for live events, installations, or testing. Luna’s improved radio design and external antenna provide a range equivalent to LumenRadio’s Aurora and Stardust units. The device includes LED indicators on the front panel and a one-button interface for quick and intuitive operation.
Luna is equipped with versatile connectivity options to accommodate a range of power and DMX needs. It includes a 5-pin XLR female connector for DMX, a DC barrel plug supporting 10–20 V DC input, and a powerCON Tru1 connector for AC power. Physical integration and mounting options are extensive, with M10 and ⅜” threads, as well as accessories for rack, wall, or V-Lock battery mounting. The aluminium enclosure provides IP20 protection, ensuring durability in a variety of professional environments.
The device’s RF characteristics include operation in the 2402–2480 MHz frequency range, using the TimoTwo radio module to deliver ultra-reliable wireless transmission. Key specifications include 5 ms latency, 128-bit encryption, and forward error correction for robust performance in demanding setups.
