The rEcho is a recessed, glare-free wall luminaire available in 1-LED or 3-LED configurations, with the added capability to function as an uplight. For design versatility, it offers four faceplate styles in premium die-cast C360 brass, complemented by an A380 aluminum housing and ABS conduit sleeve. The luminaire is available in a variety of durable finishes, including natural metal, antique bronze (brushed or tumbled), or a dual-layer system featuring sulfuric acid anodization and a TGIC polyester powder-coat for enhanced weather resistance. These finishes meet ASTM standards and are sealed with a clear TGIC layer for long-lasting performance in outdoor environments.
The 3-LED model includes an RGBW version designed for compatibility with Luxor ZDClink® controllers, enabling zoning, dimming, and full-color tuning. With this advanced control system, users can assign up to 250 zones, dim luminaires in 1% increments from 0–100%, and select from over 30,000 color options. The standard rEcho luminaire supports zoning and dimming (ZD), while the RGBW version supports full-color control (ZDC).
Engineered for performance, the rEcho delivers between 34 and 350 lumens depending on configuration and consumes 2.2 to 7.2 watts. It operates on a low-voltage input (10–15 Vac/dc for white, 11–15 Vac for RGBW) and requires a remote transformer. Its integral driver supports PWM dimming via Luxor® control or a trailing-edge dimmer. CoolDrive™ onboard thermal monitoring ensures consistent operation and protects internal components. The white LED models use Lumileds® technology and offer an extended lifetime of over 72,000 hours (L70, B10), while the RGBW variant features Cree® LEDs with a lifetime of over 55,000 hours.
Installation is designed to be recessed into vertical walls, with RD and SQ models intended for downlighting only, and WW and ST models allowing flexible orientation. The luminaire is shipped with a 12-inch ABS conduit sleeve and ½"-14 NPTF threads, but it can also be installed in standard North American 1.5" schedule 40 conduit without the sleeve. The fixed-position luminaire includes a 10-foot lead wire (18 AWG SPT-1W), while international versions have a slightly shorter cable.
Additional features include a tempered glass lens for impact resistance and high thermal tolerance, MicroAntileach™ socket technology to prevent moisture intrusion, and an IP65 rating for reliable use in dry, damp, and wet locations. The rEcho complies with UL1838 and international standards (IEC 60598-1 and IEC 60598-2-4) when used with the International Wall Kit.
BUG ratings vary by model and faceplate, with RD/SQ configurations achieving B0-U1-G0 or B0-U2-G1, while WW and ST versions support higher uplight control. IES classifications include Type II for WW and Type IV for RD/SQ, ensuring effective light distribution. For environmentally sensitive applications, the rEcho supports dark-sky compliance with 3,000K or lower light sources and is wildlife-certified (3LEDT option) by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
